Regency Security Claiming Hurdle

Won 2 handicap hurdles for Donald McCain last May and showed he retains plenty of ability for new yard when landing a Catterick claimer (15.7f) in March. Backed that up with good third over fences at Ffos Las since and is a likely player.

Useful hurdler at best for Henry de Bromhead and has proved consistent on level for new connections more recently, making the frame again at Brighton last month. Must enter calculations back in this discipline.

Fairly-useful hurdler who posted best effort over fences when third in listed handicap at Gowran (16f) in March. Below that level thereafter and market may prove best guide to claims on return from year off for new yard. Had wind operation/cheekpieces on first time.

Proved disappointing in handicap company at Fontwell latest but had been in good form in this sort of company previously and can't be ruled out. Wears first-time blinkers.

Formerly useful for Paul Nicholls but has become disappointing over hurdles and fences. Fared no better in a couple of outings for current yard and is hard to fancy.

Fair winning hurdler in 2023. Clearly had issues since and restricted to just 2 starts over fences (failed to complete in both) last season. Returns to hurdling with something to prove.
