Confirmed promise of previous outing to justify favouritism in straightforward fashion when winning 6-runner handicap at Beverley (9.9f, good to firm) 10 days ago. had the run of the race. Still relatively unexposed and should give another good account from 2 lb higher.
3-time C&D winner likely needed the run when ninth of 13 in handicap (20/1) at Musselburgh (12.5f, good) 21 days ago. Entitled to come on for that though and should give a good account despite still being above his last winning mark.
On a long losing run but handicap mark is falling as a result. Shaped better than the bare result when 13/2, respectable sixth of 10 in handicap at Thirsk (12f, good) 12 days ago, not clear run. Makes appeal down in grade with cheekpieces back on.
Winner of a 9f Carlisle last May and improved again when runner-up on subsequent couple of outings. Best forgiven her final run of last season and she looks well worth another go at this trip. Not ruled out if ready to roll on first start this season.
3-time course winner didn't look an easy ride on final start of last season, tenth of 14 in handicap at Redcar (10f, soft), hung left. Bit to prove on reappearance.
Arrives on the back of an AW hat-trick, winning 10-runner Southwell handicap (12.1f) in gutsy fashion 26 days ago. Clearly in great heart but remains to be seen if he can match that form back on the turf.
Without a win for nearly 3 years on the Flat but did bounce back to form over hurdles when third of 10 in handicap hurdle at Carlisle (17f, good) 15 days ago. On a career low mark for his return to the Level. Not totally discounted.
Course winner isn't one to rely on. Typically took a strong when ninth of 10 in handicap at this course (12.1f, good, 50/1) on final run of last season, carried head awkwardly. Difficult to fancy from 1 lb out of the handicap.

Masekela (11/8), Mister Daydream (7/2), Spanish Hustle (7/2), V Twelve (8/1), Ana Emaraaty (10/1), The Navigator (11/1), Naturalia (18/1), Jaminoz (25/1), Bristol Hill (66/1)
MASEKLA shaped better than the bare result in a higher grade last time and may be able to capitalise on his falling handicap mark with cheekpieces refitted. 3-time C&D winner Spanish Hustle should be spot on for this having blown the cobwebs away at Musselburgh last month, while Mister Daydream may yet build on his first career success at Beverley 10 days ago.
