C&D winner who had an excellent 2024, gaining a fourth success of the campaign at Haydock (1m, heavy) in October. Reappeared with an excellent second at Ripon 13 days ago, despite not being seen to very best effect, and has to be of major interest once more.
C&D winner who shaped as if needing the run when eleventh of 12 in handicap at Redcar (8f, good) 23 days ago. Likely to take a step forward.
Showed improved form on the back of a breathing op when off the mark in 12-runner maiden at Southwell (8.1f) 33 days ago, leading 3f out and quickening clear. There was plenty to like about that performance, but whether he'll reproduce that form given his apparent fragility is open to doubt.
Took his form up a notch on all-weather last year, career best under this rider when winning 13-runner handicap at Newcastle (1m) in July, overcoming pace bias in the process. Not in the same form in a better race at Kempton next time and has yet to fully convince on turf.
Much improved when making a winning handicap bow at Kempton (1m) in February. Possibly amiss when disappointing at Wolverhampton next time and could yet get back on the up.
Supplemented his Kempton success when winning 7-runner handicap over C&D (good) 22 days ago. Forced into a higher grade for his hat-trick bid but respected nonetheless.
Not seen to best effect when fourth of 10 in handicap at Redcar (8f, good to soft, 11/2) when last seen, left poorly placed. Off 6 months but has gone well fresh before.

Superposition (13/8), Partisan Hero (7/2), Leadenhall (4/1), On The River (8/1), Theme Park (17/2), Westernesse (10/1), Zoffandia (14/1), Borgi (22/1)
ON THE RIVER is a likeable type who was beaten only by one who was allowed plenty of rope on his reappearance at Ripon and is a solid choice to go one better. Partisan Hero is in a stronger handicap than for either of his 2 recent wins but is respected in his hat-trick bid all the same, with Leadenhall also of interest given he's capable of going well fresh.
