Took his winning run to 3 with facile success in a thin 17f Carlisle novice hurdle in February but fluffed his lines when turned over at 1/8 at Plumpton (20.5f, good to soft) just over 6 weeks ago, a mid-race error putting him on the back foot. Hood applied and he remains capable of better.

Fair form when reaching the frame in both bumpers and left hurdling debut effort behind when winning a weak 3-runner maiden at Exeter (16.7f, good) just over 5 weeks ago, carrying head bit awkwardly but leading last. Likely to struggle under a penalty.
|
Down the field in a pair of bumpers and fared no better tried hurdling at Ffos Las earlier in the month. Looks one for low-grade staying handicaps.
|
Modest on Flat, comfortable winner of 15.5f minor event at Corlay last June. Sold from Ludovic Gadbin €21,000 the following month and was too free sent hurdling when well held at Wetherby (16f, good) last month. Best watched.

Has really found her feet this season, scoring over C&D in October before seeming to excel herself up in class when fifth in an Ascot Grade 2 in January. Paid the price for forcing the pace in Dawn Run at Cheltenham (16.8f, good to soft) last month but big shout back in calmer waters.
|
Fair on the Flat (stays 1¼m) when with Jedd O'Keeffe but last on all 4 starts for her present yard and duly went with no promise sent hurdling at Stratford 10 days ago.

Forecasts
Brendas Asking (4/7), More Coko (15/8), Don't Mind If I Do (7/2), Star Artist (15/2), Jager Time (40/1), Regal Cavalier (250/1), Silk Bird (300/1)
Preference is for BRENDAS ASKING, who has taken her form up a notch since opening her account over C&D back in October. Back in much calmer waters, she can get the better of More Coko, who was turned over at 1/8 at Plumpton last month but remains capable of better with first-time headgear applied. Don't Mind If I Do rounds off the shortlist provided he's able to leave a lesser effort behind following a break.
