Still looking for first success but posted best effort yet when second of 8 in handicap (6/1) at Lingfield (8f, AW) 21 days ago. Races off same mark on turf debut and holds strong claims.

Returned to form when fourth of 7 in handicap at Newcastle (8f) 47 days ago, not ideally placed. 2 lb lower now and can make presence felt again.

Bagged 4 wins from 16 runs last year but they were all in lower-grade contests and he finished well beaten at Newbury on return 10 days ago.

Made the frame on several occasions for Hugo Palmer last season but was below best on Lingfield return for new yard earlier this month. Cheekpieces back on.

Rather had run of race when taking 6-runner handicap at Brighton (8f, good) 10 days ago. Useful claimer retains the ride, however, and he is not taken lightly.
