Won a 20.5f Bellewstown handicap hurdle for Gordon Elliott last summer but well beaten in his 3 outings since, including for his new yard at Wetherby in December. Has undergone wind surgery ahead of this first start for 133 days.
Resumed progress with win in 6-runner handicap at Stratford (2m, heavy) on reappearance in October. Disappointing both runs since (remote third first occasion) so a bounce back is needed after a break.
Winner on Flat and over hurdles in 2023. Showed he retains his ability when reaching the frame in 2m handicap hurdles at Doncaster and Musselburgh on return from an absence. Failed to stay 21f at Wetherby since and treated as if still in form.
Improved to land a second hurdle success in 2m Doncaster novice handicap (good) 7 weeks ago. That form has been strongly boosted since so even an 8 lb rise shouldn't prevent a prominent showing from this low-mileage 4-y-o.
Disappointed on yard debut on the Flat but it's been a different story over hurdles, winning handicaps over C&D and at Plumpton this spring. Another prominent showing is likely.
Pretty useful on the Flat for Roger Varian. Little better than modest form when reaching the frame in maiden/novice hurdles in recent months but interesting making a quick switch to handicaps off a low mark judged on his Flat ability.
Sedgefield juvenile hurdle winner in November. Bettered that form when second of 9 at Taunton the following month and now goes handicapping after a break.

Forecasts
Indemnity (11/4), Tara Iti (4/1), Aotano (9/2), Book Of Tales (13/2), Casi Crudo (13/2), Lexie's Moon (7/1), Mill Street (11/1), Leading Lion (200/1)
INDEMNITY looks dangerously well treated based on his Flat ability and is preferred to Donald McCain's Aotano, who had 3 next-time-out winners behind him at Doncaster last month. The thriving Tara Iti is another likely to have a say.
