Won 2½m hurdle here in June and best effort over fences when runner-up over C&D last month, travelled-well in first time cheekpieces. Respected on the back of that effort returning to hurdles.
Placed for the second time this season when creditable 4¾ lengths third behind Les's Legacy over C&D 20 days ago. Better off at the weights with that rival and should give a good account with cheekpieces refitted.
Snapped long losing run when readily winning over C&D last month, tanking through the race with cheekpieces back on. Remains of interest from 4 lb higher.
Showed some ability in novice/maiden company for Rebecca Menzies back in 2022 but has been off the track for over 2 years. Tough ask on handicap debut following a significant absence.
Lightly-raced 6-y-o has recorded both his wins over C&D, proving as good as ever when winning a 10-runner handicap hurdle here last month, having been well-backed. Respected from 1 lb higher mark.
Veteran C&D winner remains on a long losing run but showed more than he had been when runner-up over C&D last time (following another breathing operation). It remains to be seen whether he can back up that effort.
Hinted at ability in bumpers and on hurdles debut but failed to improve for the switch to handicaps when well-held over C&D last time, jumped none too fluently. Tried in cheekpieces but may need further leniency from the handicapper.
Modest maiden though his best efforts over hurdles have come at this track. running better than he has for a while when fifth of 13 in a 2m handicap hurdle here last month, having probably done too much too soon. Wears first-time tongue-tie but likely has a bit to find.
Maiden has hit the frame a couple of times this season but has been below form on most recent outings, well-held over a longer trip here (23.3f) 32 days ago. Needs to bounce back.
Maiden posted another creditable effort with headgear refitted (retained) when fourth of 6 at Southwell (20.4f) last month. Handicapper has given him a chance and he cannot be ruled out off this sort of mark.
Losing run extends back to September 2023 but has posted a couple of respectable runners-up efforts this season. Had his stamina stretched by the longer trip at Wetherby (24.1f) last time, though he did run in snatches. Needs to improve from 1 lb out of the handicap.
Out of sorts when well-beaten on a couple of starts last May and likely has his work cut out dropping in trip on his return from a 10-month absence.

LES'S LEGACY bounced back to form to land a C&D event last time, travelling through the race in the manner of a horse who may be able to win again. Final Edgar chased him home that day but is on better terms this time, and he's the main danger with headgear refitted. Forest Blaze has saved his best for Hexham so far in his career, and he's respected along with Larkfield Lusive who could be a live outsider from his falling handicap mark.
