Took on a few above-average types in maiden/novice events and improved further to make a successful handicap debut in novice event at Newcastle in February. Took another step forward when runner-up over C&D just under 3 weeks ago and holds leading claims under a penalty back in novice company.

Helped by a blunder from his market rival but built on earlier promise to get off the mark in 10-runner novice at Newcastle (16.9f, good) just over 7 weeks ago, far from troubled by the step back in trip. Another carrying a penalty but should have more to offer.

Well beaten in bumpers and seemed to show much more than previously when seventh over C&D month, almost certainly flattered in a steadily-run race. Handicaps after this will be more suitable.

Down the field in 2 bumpers but showed a good deal more on return/hurdles bow when third in maiden hurdle at this C&D (good to soft) last month, though the race wasn't run at a proper gallop. Needs to prove that was no fluke.

Arctic Cosmos gelding who has lacked end product in a couple of bumpers over the winter. Needs to show plenty more now hurdling.

Shirocco gelding. Half-brother to bumper winner Barbary Master, stays 21f. Dam unraced. Tongue tied and looks a huge outsider on debut.

Maiden pointer who showed more than in a bumper the previous month but never got into it after a couple of errors when sixth in novice hurdle over C&D (soft) 11 months ago. Concerning he's not been seen since so watching brief advised.

Improved from bumper debut when runner-up at Uttoxeter/Kelso and would have made a winning hurdles debut but for conceding first run at Newcastle in November. Went backwards from that effort at Sedgefield on Boxing Day so needs to get back on track.

Showed no sign of ability in bumpers and did likewise sent hurdling last month.

No better than mid-field in 3 bumpers. Big outsider on hurdles bow.

Yeats mare who was quite tight in the betting but seemed very much found wanting for know-how when it came to the crunch when seventh in bumper at Newcastle (16.2f) in January. Hood applied for hurdles bow and interesting to see if her supporters return.

No impact in novice/maiden hurdle last month.
