Dual C&D winner. Career best when winning 7-runner St Leger (11/4) at Doncaster (14.5f, good) by neck from Illinois on final start of 2024. This lightly-raced and unbeaten colt may well have more to offer this season.
Very smart horse. Didn't need to improve to win 10-runner Curragh Cup (13/8) at this course (14.1f, good to firm) when last seen 8 months ago. Leading form claims but this drop back in trip may catch him out and Ryan Moore prefers Jan Brueghel.
Smart gelding. 4-time course winner. 11/10, career best when winning 4-runner Ballyroan Stakes at Leopardstown (12f, good to firm) by 5 lengths from The Euphrates, keeping on well. Will be a danger to all if ready to roll following 8 months off.
Useful horse. Course winner. 4 lengths fourth of 6 to Continuous in Royal Whip Stakes at this C&D (good to firm, 18/1). Off 7 months and he looks up against it.
Smart gelding. Two wins from 5 runs last year. 12/1, 5¼ lengths fifth of 8 to Nations Pride in Singspiel Stakes at Meydan (9f, good) 42 days ago. Cheekpieces on 1st time. Needs to raise his game.
Useful gelding. 16/1, 4¼ lengths fourth of 5 to Bolster in listed race at Newmarket (10f, heavy). Off 161 days. First run for yard after leaving Jane Chapple-Hyam. Plenty to find on form.
Useful colt. 17½ lengths last of 7 to Economics in Prix Guillaume d'Ornano (29/1) at Deauville (9.9f, good) on final appearance of 2024. First run for yard after leaving Jean-Claude Rouget. Uphill task.

Forecasts
Jan Brueghel (4/5), Los Angeles (6/4), Crystal Black (7/2), Galen (6/1), Tower Of London (8/1), Sons And Lovers (20/1), Crypto Force (20/1), Wahdan (50/1)
CRYSTAL BLACK ascended through the ranks in his four runs last season, culminating in a thoroughly decisive success in a Leopardstown Group 3. He is up against two very smart Ballydoyle colts here in Jan Brueghel and Tower of London, but this trip would now be an absolute minimum for the rivals in question and he is a tempting alternative at the forecast prices. Ryan Moore prefers Jan Brueghel of the O'Brien-trained pair and the unbeaten colt is greatly respected.
