Resumed winning ways at Uttoxeter (2m) in July but not in same form since, well-beaten eighth of 9 in handicap hurdle over C&D (soft) 118 days ago. Plenty to prove on his return.

Disappointed on yard debut on the Flat but justified support back over hurdles when running away with a Huntingdon handicap last month (form franked by second). Ran creditably when third over a longer trip at the same venue a week later. Still fairly treated on best form and solid claims back at 2m.

Successful over 2m at Perth in July and has been gradually running back into form, creditable effort (wearing first-time tongue tie) when fourth of 11 in handicap hurdle at Musselburgh (15.6f) 7 weeks ago, finding trip/track on sharp side. This test may suit better and not ruled out.

A fair 1m Flat maiden for James Ferguson. Changed hands for 20,000 gns in July but hasn't convinced in qualifying runs, well-beaten in juvenile hurdle at Wetherby (16f) 97 days ago (since had wind surgery). Handicapping may be more his game, but he needs a step forward.

Sole success over hurdles came at this track in a novice in September 2022 for Donald McCain and struggled over fences when last seen under Rules in the early months of 2023 season. Placed in a point for Bradley Gibbs last year but faces tough task on stable debut back over hurdles.

Remains a maiden but has been in great heart, finding one too good on each of her last 3 starts. Traded at short price in-running when travelling well in first-time blinkers 25 days ago, finishing second of 8 in handicap hurdle at Carlisle (17f). Remains of interest from only 1 lb higher mark.

Landed a brace of 2m handicap wins in October, looking a strong stayer over this sort of trip. Held his form hitting the frame twice since and running creditably (after 3 months off) when fifth of 9 in handicap hurdle at Carlisle (17f) 11 days ago. Should give another good account.

Veteran Flat performer won on the level at Musselburgh in November. However, yet to score in this sphere and latest effort over fences was underwhelming. Questions to answer on stable debut following 126-day absence.

No great shakes over hurdles and not much better in 2 starts over fences when trained by Dan Skelton. Fell heavily on sole start for Hugh Burns in October and offered little returning to smaller obstacles on debut for this yard 3 weeks ago. 1 lb out of the handicap and best to look elsewhere.

Poor on Flat and limited over hurdles, shaped slightly better than the result when seventh of 11 in handicap hurdle (100/1) at Musselburgh (15.6f, good to soft) 46 days ago but is hard to fancy from 6 lb out of the handicap.

TARA ITI is still fairly handicapped on the best of his form and dropping back in trip, he may be able to record his second win in 3 starts over hurdles for James Owen. Milajess is threatening to come good and has to be respected on the back of a hat-trick of runners-up finishes, while Trailblazer isn't ruled out from his current mark back over this slightly longer distance.
