Good second of 10 in handicap (5/2) at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 15 days ago, having run of race. Remains on a workable mark following a 2 lb nudge and he's a must for the shortlist.
Creditable fifth of 9 in handicap at this C&D (AW, 10/1) 44 days ago, not ideally placed. Not without an each-way chance.
C&D winner. Three wins from 10 runs last year. 11/1, fifth of 8 in handicap at Wolverhampton (8.6f) 8 days ago. Remains 3 lb above last winning mark and may again find one or two too good.
Lightly-raced winner. Seventh of 9 in nursery at Sandown (7f, good to soft, 9/1). Off 19 months and it's probably safe to assume that he'll be all the better for the run.
Respectable fifth of 11 in handicap (5/1) at Nottingham (8.3f, heavy), slowly away. Off 174 days ahead of this yard debut. The refitting of cheekpieces back on isn't an obvious plus (safely held sole previous try in this headgear) and he's 0-7 on the AW. Others make more appeal.
6/4, creditable second of 8 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 27 days ago, no match for winner. On that evidence he should shed his maiden tag sometime soon and likely to be on the premises back up to a mile here.
Course winner. Good second of 14 in handicap at Chelmsford City (8f, 4/1) on final start for Hugo Palmer in October. Place possibilities starting out for new yard.
Latest win at Kempton in February. 4/1, seventh of 8 in handicap at Kempton (7f) 27 days ago. Was holding his form well prior to that and it'd be no surprise were he to bounce back with a bold show.

Urban Sprawl (2/1), Hitched (4/1), Robbo (9/2), Port Road (6/1), The Bitter Moose (7/1), Future Cutlet (8/1), Savvy Kingdom (14/1), Enpassant (16/1), Lunario (33/1)
The vote goes to URBAN SPRAWL, who lost no caste in defeat when touched off by a bang in-form rival at Wolverhampton recently and he could prove hard to peg back returned to this course and kept to 0-78 company. It's easy enough to forgive Enpassant for his latest effort given his otherwise consistent profile and he is second choice ahead of Irish import Future Cutlet.
