2m novice hurdle winner on heavy last winter and matched that form when third in Sedgefield handicap hurdle on reappearance. Not been in same form since, though, and is now tried in first-time blinkers.

Tail flasher but won 3 times in this sphere in 2023. Been lightly raced and disappointing since, latest over fences at Ascot in December, but drops in grade here and can't be ruled out.

Gained reward for some creditable efforts last season when winning Market Rasen handicap (23.1f) in June. Made little impact in a trio of starts since but has been cut some slack by the assessor and does operate on a sound surface.

Best effort last term came when second in good-ground handicap at Exeter (18.5f) and ran to similar level when fifth at Ffos Las in November. Not been in quite same form since but must enter calculations in first-time blinkers here.

Beaten a fair way both starts in bumpers and similar story in 4 attempts over timber, latest when third of 5 on handicap bow at Plumpton (25f, soft) 57 days ago. Others preferred.

Yet to score but returned to form when good second of 7 in handicap hurdle at this course (19f, good, 12/1) 15 days ago and remains on a workable mark. 1 lb out of the weights.

Down the field in bumpers and has fared no better in 3 starts over hurdles this season. Has found weak race to start handicapping, though, and is worth a second look in the market. 1 lb out of the weights.
