Has plenty to recommend him on paper and duly built on debut promise when taking 5-runner novice at this course (1m, 6/1) 10 days ago, well on top finish. Very much the type to progress further and lots to like back down in trip.

Eqtidaar gelding who offered little in pair of course novice events last month. Low-grade handicaps will be more suitable after this.

Sogannie

Age: 4| Weight: 8-13| J: J P Sullivan| T: Mrs R Carr

25/1

Sogann filly. Half-sister to several winners, including 6f-7f winner Bobby Joe Leg and 2-y-o 7f winner Mostashreqah. Dam 6f winner. Likely she'll be better for this initial experience.

Toralou⁶¹

Age: 4| Weight: 8-13| J: Mark Winn| T: D O'Meara| BF

11/1

Showed plenty of ability when runner-up in a Haydock novice (6f) only start as a 2-y-o. However, missed 2024 and shaped as if better for the run after 18 months off when last of 4 in novice at Wolverhampton (6.1f, evens) 61 days ago. This should reveal more.

Forecasts

Commanding Prince (1/8), Believe The Storm (10/3), Environment (15/2), Toralou (11/1), Sogannie (25/1), Woodrafff (150/1)

COMMANDING PRINCE confirmed debut promise when running out a good winner of a 1m novice here 10 days ago and Archie Watson's well-bred 4-y-o can handle the drop in trip and follow up. Debut scorer Believe The Storm is next best, whilst it will be interesting to see how Toralou fares with her belated reappearance effort behind her.
