DragonBet Supporting UK Racecourses Handicap Hurdle

Won twice from 4 starts last term (also second here) but not at his best this season. A bounce back is needed.

A fairly useful 17f hurdles winner in France last spring but he hasn't fired in 3 runs since coming to Britain. Can only watch at present.

Landed a Dundalk claimer on final run for previous stable and caused a surprise back over hurdles for new yard winning a 17-runner handicap at Wincanton in January. Has backed that up with 2 creditable efforts around 2m since and player if stamina holds now stepping back up in trip.,

40/1 winner of a handicap at Worcester (2½m, good) in August but hasn't come close to reproducing that form in 3 subsequent outings. This is his first run for 4 months.

Fair form at best for Gordon Elliott but ended time with that yard on a low note and well beaten on Worcester stable debut in September. Off since.

Fairly useful hurdler who took handicaps at Fontwell and Worcester in spring 2023 but has found life harder since, dropping away quickly back from a break at Warwick 17 days ago.

Steady progress in maiden/novice hurdles but Sandown handicap debut in January was disappointing, pulling up. Early days but had to make a good case for.

Dual hurdles winner but has run well below par the last twice, albeit 2m was on the short side last time and the handicapper has given him a chance. No surprise were he to go well.

Fair form on first 2 outings back in 2023 but hasn't kicked on from that, including in 3 handicaps since joining Neil Mulholland.

Well held in bumpers but placed twice in ordinary maiden hurdles in the autumn. Well beaten back from a break at Lingfield 4 weeks ago but more chance now handicapping in first-time headgear.

Winner of an Exeter novice last January but has offered little in 6 subsequent handicap starts. Best to look elsewhere.

Good second of 12 at Newton Abbot in July but pulled up back there the following month and not seen since. Might be best watched this time.

Yet to fire this term, pulling up over 3m at Uttoxeter when last seen on New Year's Eve. Drops in trip with cheekpieces added back from 10 weeks off.
