C&D winner. Latest win at Southwell in January. 7/2, wasted no time confirming he's still in good form when fourth of 9 in handicap at this course (9.5f) 6 days ago, having run of race. Back up in trip.
Struggling for form at present but is likely to have finished a bit closer with a clearer run when seventh of 8 in handicap at this C&D (28/1) 13 days ago. Blinkers on 1st time. Could be worth chancing from a career-low mark.

C&D winner. 9/1, ran poorly over 4f longer trip when eighth of 11 in handicap at Southwell (16.5f) 17 days ago. Back down in trip. Blinkers back on.
16/1, ran no sort of race when well-beaten eighth of 9 in handicap at this course (9.5f) 2 weeks ago. Up in trip. Hood back on.
C&D winner. Thirteen runs since last win in 2024. 11/1, got back on track when fifth of 12 in handicap at Chelmsford (13.3f) 4 days ago. In the shake up if he's able to build on that.
Seventeen runs since last win in 2022. 9/2, did plenty wrong back up in trip when eighth of 12 in handicap at Chelmsford (13.3f) 4 days ago, missing break then pulling hard.
40/1, below form when seventh of 9 in handicap at this course (9.5f) 6 days ago. Back up in trip. Blinkers on 1st time. Not easy to make a case for.
Course winner in January. 17/2, wasn't disgraced when fifth of 7 in handicap at this course (14f) 13 days ago. Each-way claims.
Never got involved from a poor position when seventh of 11 in minor event (25/1) at this C&D 3 weeks ago. Had been placed all 3 starts prior this year so could well bounce back returned to a handicap.

Forecasts
Khangai (3/1), Virtual Hug (7/2), Douglas Dc (11/2), Mhajim (11/2), Mirabello Bay (7/1), Two Plus Two (8/1), Disquietude (18/1), Mostly Mozart (22/1), Tancredi (33/1)
DOUGLAS DC arrives out of sorts but would likely have finished a bit closer granted a smoother passage over C&D recently, so Tony Carroll's 7-y-o gets the tentative nod from a career-low mark with blinkers replacing his usual cheekpieces. Second choice is Khangai, who is taking his racing well and wasted no time confirming he's still in good form here last week. Disquietude and Virtaul Hug can fight out third.
