Two of his 3 wins last season came over this C&D and confirmed his effectiveness around here with 3 good placed efforts this season (below par elsewhere this term). Should go well again.
Lightly-raced 7-y-o who made a successful handicap bow over hurdles at Fontwell (21.8f, heavy) a year ago. Pulled up all 3 starts since, however, including both starts over fences this term.
Maiden over hurdles but improved with first-time blinkers enlisted when striking at the second attempt in this sphere at Uttoxeter (3m, heavy). Not in same form at Huntingdon since, however, and needs to bounce back.
Won here and Cartmel in the spring. Arrives here on the back of 2 poor efforts but is back on a winning mark now. Usual headgear left off.
Modest maiden over hurdles and has run to a similar level all 5 starts over fences, tried in headgear when remote third at Huntingdon latest. Others preferred.
Fair maiden hurdler/chaser who arrives in good nick, not beaten far in a better race than this at Doncaster last time. Can make his presence felt once more.
Landed a 3m Market Rasen handicap chase in February 2021 but seen out just 5 times since, well below form each time. Of minimal interest these days.
Modest winning hurdler (at 25f) but not matched that level over fences this winter. Mark is easing all the time but he needs to show more before becoming of interest. Headgear applied.
Sole win over hurdles came here and just held off Ali Star Bert to make a winning chase debut here (25.8f, soft) in December 2023. Off since and has left Charles & Adam Pogson. Market should reveal expectations.
Failed to complete in a couple of points and shaped with little promise in a trio of maiden hurdles/handicap chase bow.

Forecasts
Ali Star Bert (4/1), Big Bee Hive (4/1), Illogical Logic (4/1), Pearl Island (7/1), Kapamazov (8/1), Boleyn Boy (8/1), How And Ever (11/1), The Skiffle King (12/1), Miami Jim (28/1), Archie Brown (50/1)
ILLOGICAL LOGIC is taken to finally break his duck having been beaten just over a length in a better race that this at Doncaster last month. Ali Star Bert might not be so consistent as he used to be but it's hard to crab his record at this venue so he rates the main threat.
