Hit the target twice for Gordon Elliott in 2023 and following a very low-key start for present stable, he stopped the slide on second start over fences when runner-up at Stratford. Seemed unsuited by drop back in trip when third at Ffos Las since so not taken lightly back from a break. Headgear on.

Hurdles winner at Southwell in June 2022 and opened chase account at the fourth time of asking there later the same season. Shaped as if retaining all ability after 22 months off when fourth back over hurdles at Catterick 19 days ago and entitled to come on for that.

Winner of handicap chases at Ffos Las and Plumpton during early stages of last season and winner of all 3 starts this term, improving a chunk when wide-margin winner at Southwell last week. Should prove hard to beat under a penalty.

Showed ability both starts over hurdles this season and no surprise he starts off in handicaps over fences given his size and pedigree (from family of high-class chaser Bob Olinger). Worth keeping an eye on him in the market.

Lightly-raced maiden who was runner-up on first completed start under Rules in a Sedgefield novice hurdles last winter. Nowhere near that level in 4 subsequent starts, though, including on chase bow here latest.
