Mayday Games²¹⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: Nick Scholfield| T: C Ellam| OR: 100

66/1

Little in the way of solid form when trained in Ireland by Paul John Gilligan. Others more persuasive on stable debut.

Form: P8-4P0

Mon Kaplais^t1⁵⁵

Age: 6| Weight: 12-0| J: Tristan Durrell⁽³⁾| T: D Skelton| OR: 100

3/1

Merely hinted at ability in his qualifying runs but he's in excellent hands so a much-improved showing now handicapping may well be on the cards. Tongue tie on and market check essential.

Form: 456

Tarbuck³⁷

Age: 7| Weight: 11-13| J: David Noonan| T: Miss C Dyson| OR: 99

17/2

Fair in bumpers but yet to feature over hurdles. Handicaps more suitable, at least.

Form: 42-974

Uokhun^t¹¹

Age: 7| Weight: 11-12| J: William Maggs⁽⁵⁾| T: T D Easterby| OR: 98

7/1

Third 3 times on the bounce over 2m in November/ December. Sound-enough efforts despite improving for step up in trip in recent starts and her merit looks pretty well established.

Form: U33345

Red Cadillac¹⁹

Age: 6| Weight: 11-8| J: Danny McMenamin| T: N G Richards| OR: 94| BF

10/3

Made the frame on both bumper outings last season. Modest form in maiden hurdles but well backed switched to a handicap and shaped well when third at Ayr 3 weeks ago. Major claims.

Form: 34-5443

Deep Strato^t⁵⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: B S Hughes| T: D McCain Jnr| OR: 85| D

8/1

Point winner and has shown a bit of potential in a light career under Rules, including when fourth on his 19f Carlisle handicap hurdle debut /reappearance in December. One to be very positive about.

Form: 1/4005-4

Churchman²¹

Age: 7| Weight: 10-13| J: Murray Dodd⁽⁷⁾| T: A Ralph| OR: 85

3/1

Maiden who didn't show much on return to action at Taunton 3 weeks ago. May have needed that but will need to step up markedly to figure.

Form: 424-359

Kalabana¹⁴

Age: 7| Weight: 10-8| J: Craig Nichol| T: S Allwood| OR: 80

12/1

Placed sole outing in points but no promise as yet over hurdles.

Form: 30/8-P5

Leading The Way^p²⁴⁶

Age: 9| Weight: 10-2| J: Tabitha Worsley⁽³⁾| T: G Howell| OR: 63

100/1

Long-standing maiden who remains easy to oppose from out of the weights.

Form: 6747-PP

Weight: 11-11| Age: 6

Forecasts

Churchman (3/1), Mon Kaplais (3/1), Red Cadillac (10/3), El Fabienne (11/2), Uokhun (7/1), Deep Strato (8/1), Tarbuck (17/2), Kalabana (12/1), Mayday Games (66/1), Leading The Way (100/1)

RED CADILLAC shaped well held up in a steadily-run race on handicap debut at Ayr 3 weeks ago and on that evidence, this mark looks within his range. Deep Strato and Mon Kaplais have bigger performances in them so head the opposition.
