Improved away from the mud when winning back-to-back handicaps early in the current campaign and, making third start back from her summer break, was a good second in mares' novice at Warwick (21f, soft) in December. Will need to find more again, though.

Bumper winner who improved from hurdling debut when successful in mares' maiden at Wincanton in November. Lesser effort when sixth in handicap at Newbury 40 days ago, but she's worth another chance to build on promise of her first 2 starts over hurdles.

Bumper winner who is yet to score over hurdles but was placed again when runner-up in mares' handicap at this course (23.9f, heavy) in December. Rare below-par effort in maiden here (20f) last time, though she appeals as the type to bounce back quickly.

Fair juvenile hurdler in France who a winning start for Paul Nicholls at Huntingdon in December. Wasn't able to build on that effort when fourth of 9 at Taunton 3 weeks later, but she remains capable of better given her French form. Major player.

CLOTILDA opened her account at the first time of asking for Paul Nicholls at Huntingdon in December, form boosted by the runner-up winning his next start, so she is worth forgiving a lesser effort last time given the level she had run to in France. The 4-y-o is preferred to Sunset Marquesa, who could also bounce back given her previous promise.
