Par Inn Cornwall Novices' Handicap Chase

Landed a gamble making a winning debut for this yard under an attacking ride at Wincanton in October. Went in twice again the following month, landing a 6-runner handicap at Huntingdon prior to completing the hat-trick in good style at Market Rasen (21.4f, soft), and he has to go on the shortlist.

Fairly useful hurdler/chaser in France and seemingly finding her feet for present yard following a second wind op, placed in handicap chases at Wincanton and Leicester (both at around 2m) the last twice. Should make her presence felt.

Free-going type who has proven to be a disappointment since switched to handicaps over hurdles, finishing mid-field in 17-runner event at Wincanton recently. Needs to raise his game now sent chasing.

Modest hurdles winner who readily surpassed previous efforts in this discipline (following a wind op) when runner-up at Ludlow in December. However, little to shout about in 2 subsequent starts and the percentage call is to look elsewhere.

Modest form at best on the Flat and over hurdles for Alan King. No show both starts for new yard since returning to action in December and needs to turn things around now tackling the larger obstacles.

Duly improved on her handicap bow when scoring at Fontwell (19f, soft) in October. Ran as well in defeat after a break when third of 11 in handicap at Plumpton a couple of months later before 21.6f on heavy going proved to be too much of a test at Exeter. Possibilities on chase debut.

Successful in Irish points in October 2022 but little show in 4 races over hurdles to date, including when tried in handicap company for the first time at Exeter.

Creditable fifth of 12 in handicap hurdle at Newton Abbot last summer and ran to a similar level when fifth back from a break at Chepstow in November. Wasn't in quite the same form at Uttoxeter next time, though, and looks vulnerable from a win point of view now chasing.

Winning Irish pointer but record under Rules isn't great and has failed to complete on each of his last 3 starts. Readily passed over.

Winner of the second of her 2 starts between the flags but has so far offered little under Rules, again well held on return/chase debut on latest appearance in November. Since undergone a wind op and cheekpieces now enlisted.

Still looking for first success and she didn't show much back chasing on return here at the end of December.

No sign of ability to date and she's very hard to warm to.
