Found his feet over fences during the spring and has kicked on again this season, winning at Ffos Las last 2 starts. Did it in good style last time should make his presence felt again.
Showed improved form to get off the mark under Rules in handicap hurdle at Chepstow final start last season. Won sole start in points and looked a better chaser when making winning start in 3-runner contest at Ludlow on return. Disappointed both starts since, however.
Becoming well handicapped but failed to build on the promise of his previous run when well held at Chepstow. Risky.
Improved for switch to chasing/fitting of cheekpieces during the spring, successful in back to back at Exeter. Respectable third there on return on New Year's Day and entitled to be sharper now.
Placed in a couple of French bumpers and showed ability over hurdles last season. Confirmed chase debut promise when battling gamely to score at Uttoxeter on New Year's Eve and should have more to offer in this sphere.
Won back-to-back handicaps here early last year, including this race. Ran poorly on last 2 starts of that campaign but has returned better than ever, resuming winning ways at Lingfield 7 weeks ago. Needs considering.
Opened hurdles account at Market Rasen a year ago and back to form the last twice, finishing third in handicap hurdles at Chepstow and Ludlow (both at around 3m). The fact that she was successful on sole start between the flags augurs well ahead of this chase debut.
Poor form in handicaps chases this season after an absence and 2 lb out of the handicap here.
Got off the mark at Wincanton in November and backed it up with a good second of 5 in handicap chase at Taunton 47 days ago. Remains low mileage in this sphere but is 6 lb out of the handicap.

Jo Lescribaa (11/4), The Scorpion King (9/2), Bampton Star (5/1), The Midwife (13/2), The Big Reveal (17/2), Ask Brewster (9/1), Twilight Glory (10/1), Shot Boii (10/1), The Boola Boss (10/1), Castle Daragh (25/1), My Mate Polly (40/1)
JO LESCRIBAA is already proving to be a much better chaser than hurdler and the way he went through the race when scoring at Uttoxeter 4 weeks ago suggests there's more to come from him in this sphere. The Scorpion King is thriving at the moment and is an obvious threat, with last year's winner Twilight Glory another who arrives at the top of their game.
