Blue Lakota¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: Mason Paetel⁽⁷⁾| T: K A Ryan| OR: 71| BF| D

10/3

Back-to-back winner of nurseries at Newcastle/Chelmsford and unlucky not to finish closer in hat-trick bid when third at first-named venue 17 days ago, denied a run over 1f out before running on late. Definite mileage in him from revised mark on that evidence.

Kildonan^b1³¹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-9| J: A J Farragher| T: Miss A Murphy| OR: 71| CD

4/1

Showed improved form when making it fifth time lucky in a C&D maiden in November. Respectable effort when seventh of 12 in nursery back here 31 days ago and he's an each-way player with first-time blinkers now enlisted.

(6)

Nad Alshiba Rain³⁵

Age: 3| Weight: 9-8| J: L Morris| T: M Appleby| OR: 70

22/1

Thrice-raced maiden. 18/1, possibly needed the run after 6 months off when sixth of 9 in novice at this course (7.1f) 35 days ago. Makes handicap debut and the market can guide.

Form: 566-

(8)

Triple Charged¹⁷

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: C Lee| T: K R Burke| OR: 69

5/2

Lightly-raced maiden. Off 5 months/gelded, shaped with definite encouragement when good fifth of 10 in nursery at Newcastle (6f) 17 days ago, denied a run final 1f and noted finishing with running left. One to be interested in on the back of that.

Form: 437055-

(7)

Horus¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: S M Levey| T: Michael Keady| OR: 69| D

10/3

Well backed returning from 3 months off and got off the mark with a bit in hand when winning 8-runner nursery at Lingfield (6f, AW) 14 days ago, readily asserting final 1f. Up 6 lb on the back of that and this does look a tougher assignment.

Form: 524981-

(2)

Psychodrama³⁹

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: Billy Garritty| T: R A Fahey| OR: 66

11/1

Thrice-raced maiden. Second of 9 in novice at Newcastle (6f, 5/1) 39 days ago, left behind by winner over 1f out. Makes handicap debut from a mark that demands improvement.

Form: 542-

(4)

Flicka's Girl¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-3| J: H Crouch| T: D Loughnane| OR: 65

22/1

Debut winner at Wolverhampton back in the spring but not progressed subsequently, 4¾ lengths sixth of 8 to Horus in nursery at Lingfield (6f) 14 days ago. Others more persuasive.

Form: 208676-

(5)

Mystical Elegance^p1¹⁴

Age: 3| Weight: 9-0| J: David Probert| T: S Hodgson| OR: 62

66/1

6¾ lengths seventh of 8 to Horus in nursery (14/1) at Lingfield (6f, AW) 14 days ago. Cheekpieces reached for now but others make much more appeal.

Forecasts

Triple Charged (5/2), Blue Lakota (10/3), Horus (10/3), Kildonan (4/1), Psychodrama (11/1), Jake Loves Laura (12/1), Flicka's Girl (22/1), Nad Alshiba Rain (22/1), Mystical Elegance (66/1)

BLUE LAKOTA was unlucky not to finish closer in his bid to land the hat-trick when third at Newcastle 17 days ago, denied a run over 1f out before running on late. He's very much of interest again and shades the vote ahead of Triple Charged, who similarly caught the eye when a couple of placings behind the selection latest. Easy Lingfield scorer Horus is another to consider.
