Winning hurdler who was most impressive when winning 6-runner beginners chase at Down Royal first time up over fences. Bettered that form despite being unable to justify short-priced favouritism when close third of 5 to Croke Park in Drinmore at Fairyhouse (20f) 5 weeks ago and can improve again.
Useful winning hurdler who made a very promising start to his new career after 7 months off when winning 18-runner beginners chase (5/4) at Navan (20.7f, soft) just over 4 weeks ago, seeing things out better than had sometimes been the case over hurdles (went tongue tied). Will progress.
Multiple winning hurdler (including at Grade 1 level) who showed no ill-effects of having been sidelined for nearly 12 months when landing the odds 13-runner beginners chase at Wexford (16f, heavy) just under 10 weeks ago. Leading claims with further progress on the cards.
25/1, stepped up from first effort over fences when 12¼ lengths fourth of 8 to Only By Night in Grade 2 chase at Cork (16.7f, good to soft) 4 weeks ago. Clearly has a future in this sphere but faces a stiff task up against horses with some serious potential.
Modest winner at 3m over hurdles. Failed to build on the promise of her chasing debut when fifth of 14 in handicap (17/2) at Thurles (25.1f, good) just over a fortnight ago. Significantly back down in trip but out of depth here. Engaged 2.50 Cork Saturday.

Forecasts
Inthepocket (11/10), Ile Atlantique (13/8), Firefox (7/2), Kilbarry Saint (150/1), Walk In Time (250/1)
INTHEPOCKET showed no ill-effects of having been sidelined for nearly 12 months when bolting up at Wexford in October and, with further progress on the cards, Henry de Bromhead's 8-y-o is fancied to take this step up in grade in his stride at the expense of Ile Atlantique, who couldn't have been much more impressive first time up over fences at Navan last month. Firefox, who ran a cracker when narrowly denied at the top-level last time, rounds off the shortlist.
