Placed all 3 starts switched to fences for Nigel Twiston-Davies during 2021/22 campaign. Won 4 of 6 starts between the flags in the interim subsequently and wasn't seen to best effect back under Rules at Stratford last time, so not fully discounted.
Won at Southwell and Cartmel in the spring and has shaped as if in good heart this winter, running respectably in a higher grade than he need contest at Wetherby (24.2f, heavy) 25 days ago. Has good chance on form.
Generally reliable and gained a deserved first win for over 2 years at Southwell in March. Best effort since when second at Market Rasen (23.9f, soft, 4/1) 27 days ago and he's respected.
Modest winner at 20f over hurdles but ran below that on his completed start over fences at Wetherby (19.4f, heavy, 9/2) 25 days ago. More needed.
Both wins have come over C&D and he arrives on the back of a respectable third in a 7-runner handicap at Sedgefield (26.3f, soft) 26 days ago. Place claims look solid.
Placed both starts in points but little show under Rules so far, folding alarmingly tamely sent chasing at Uttoxeter when last seen in May. Plenty to prove.
Over 2 years since his sole success and went the wrong way from his reappearance when fourth of 8 in handicap chase at Market Rasen (19.2f, soft) 27 days ago. Step up in trip should suit and cheekpieces go on, so not fully ruled out yet from handy mark.
Produced one of his better efforts from just out of the weights when fourth of 13 in handicap chase at Carlisle (26.2f, soft) 31 days ago. Respected if able to back that up.
Finally off the mark in novices' handicap chase at Lingfield on comeback last season but ran poorly at Fontwell last time and others make greater appeal from just out of the weights.

Forecasts
Big Bee Hive (3/1), Felton Bellevue (7/2), Prince Cleni (6/1), Mackie Dee (7/1), Faitque De L'Isle (15/2), Tedwin Hills (8/1), Gibberwell (8/1), Macfin (8/1), Ismael (17/2), Wexford Park (11/1), Kadex (16/1), Dysania (25/1)
BIG BEE HIVE has been in better heart than his recent form figures suggest and Sam England's gelding can notch a third win of the season. Felton Bellevue is a largely consistent performer at this level and should be in the mix again on the back of a sound effort at Market Rasen, with course-specialist Prince Cleni completing the shortlist.
