Bumper winner in early 2023 who reached a fair level without success over hurdles, stepping up on his comeback run in first-time visor (retained here) when fourth of 8 in handicap at Uttoxeter 3 weeks ago. Worth considering now tackling larger obstacles for the first time.
Fetched £180,000 after winning an Irish point but only minor promise on second of his 3 hurdle starts during 2023/24. Appeals very much the type to make a better chaser and unlikely to be lacking for fitness now handicapping in this sphere after 9 months off.
Hurdles scorer who tasted success twice over fences at around 2½m last season. Shaped as if better for the run following a wind op/9 months off when fifth of 7 in handicap chase at Fontwell (19.5f) 3 weeks ago and better showing anticipated. Tongue strap retained here.
Expensive purchase from points who matched pick of his hurdles form after 9 months off when third of 6 in handicap chase at Wincanton (25.1f, heavy) on debut over fences 27 days ago. Will need to brush up his jumping, however.
Improved for switch to chasing/fitting of cheekpieces during the spring, successful in back-to-back C&D events in March before a lesser run when fifth at Bangor (3m) a month later. Absent since but it remains early days and he could yet have more to offer this season.
Firmly back on track when making a winning return in handicap chase at Chepstow in October. Respectable in-the-frame efforts next 2 starts but not at best back over hurdles at Taunton on latest outing 3 weeks ago. Better showing not ruled out returned to larger obstacles.
C&D winner who resumed with success at Newton Abbot in May but fell at that venue a month later and he failed to come on for a recent run when twelfth of 13 in handicap chase at Hereford (20.9f, good to soft) 21 days ago. Others preferred.
Gained reward for a string of solid efforts when landing a 10-runner handicap at Hereford (20.9f, heavy) in January 2023. Checked out tamely both starts thereafter that season and the betting may well prove the best guide on this return from 21 months off.
Opened hurdles account here (23f, soft) last November but his exploits proved mixed thereafter and having displayed some promise sent chasing at Stratford in October, he took a backward step when pulled up at Wincanton (26.7f, heavy) last month. Needs to get back on track.
Bought for plenty of money after finishing second in an Irish point but no impact as yet under Rules, including when fifth of 9 in handicap chase at Wincanton (25.1f, soft, 10/3) 15 days ago. Lines up here operating from long way out of the weights.

I See The Sea (2/1), Moonlight Artist (4/1), Lock Out (7/1), Katate Dori (15/2), Simple Getaway (9/1), Bampton Star (10/1), Good Friday Fairy (11/1), School For Scandal (12/1), Kingcormac (18/1), Lightonthewing (22/1), Supreme Commander (25/1)
KATATE DORI failed to get his head in front over hurdles but showed the benefit of his reappearance run when finishing a creditable fourth at Uttoxeter on his latest start and he appeals as a likely type to take to this discipline for the Sam Thomas stable. Simple Getaway is another chase debutant to note, particularly if market vibes are positive. Good Friday Fairy, I See The Sea and and Lock Out are others in the mix.
