3 wins from 17 runs this year. 8/1, won 12-runner handicap at this course (7.1f) 11 days ago by length from Lahab, helped by being held up in strongly-run race. Ought to be in the shake-up.

Forecasts

Volenti (10/3), Wyvern (5/1), Paris Lights (11/2), Callianassa (11/2), Book Of Life (6/1), Tasever (9/1), Lahab (9/1), Trais Fluors (12/1), Mercurius Power (16/1), Mount King (22/1), Grovely Belle (25/1), Parish Councillor (33/1)

LAHAB signalled he is ready to end a losing run when a good recent second here so is fancied to capitalise on a handy-looking mark at the chief expense of three-time C&D scorer Volenti. Book of Life is also weighted to have a say, with Mercurius Power and Trais Fluors also worthy of respect in a competitive event.
