Scored at Goodwood (9.9f, heavy) in May. Disappointed at Newbury later that month but has run into form over hurdles, winning 14-runner novice hurdle (15/2) at Hereford (16.2f, good to soft). Off 7 months but has run well fresh and is interesting up in trip on tapeta debut.

Off the mark at Kempton (11f) in October and found further improvement when following up in 8-runner Wolverhampton handicap (7/4) over 1m4f. Didn't get a clean passage but ran at least as well with third of 11 at same venue, racing keenly and running on late (hung left). Respected.

80/1, last of 11 in handicap at Newmarket (12f, good) in July. Ran okay on first run for this yard (fifth of 7 in handicap at this course over 14.1f, 38 days ago) after leaving Jack Jones (for 7,000 gns). Could build on that.

Won 4 AW races equipped to start 2024 for Barry Brennan. Lacklustre efforts both starts for Tom Dascombe but improved on moderate first effort for this yard when fourth of 6 in handicap at Chester (12.3f, good to soft), having been slowly away and raced keenly. C&D winner returns from 138-day break.

25/1 Winner at Ripon in August. Good third of 8 in novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (15.8f, good to soft, 10/3) in November, Ran respectably back on the AW when fifth of 8 in handicap at Newcastle (10.2f) 8 days ago, fading late on.

Fair bumper winner and improved when winning 9-runner handicap at Southwell (12.1f) in October. Not in same form when sixth of 8 in handicap at Kempton (12f, 8/1) 51 days ago, weakening from 2f out.

Cheekpieces on for 1st time, good second of 9 in handicap (9/2) at Lingfield (10f, AW) in November, running on. Back up in trip and capable of being in the mix here.

1 win from 4 runs this year. First run since leaving P. J. F. Murphy when 16/5, won 8-runner handicap over 12.4f at Newcastle, overcoming pace bias. Travelled strongly when a good second over same C&D, following a 66-day break. Still unexposed over middle distances, especially in a truly run race.

Can be slowly away. Improved on recent efforts to win 12-runner handicap at Lingfield (13f, 10/1) in November. Held his form when back up in trip (fourth of 11 in handicap at Lingfield (15.8f) 17 days ago, finishing well from off the pace having dwelt at start.
