Fitzdares Windsor Castle Mares' Handicap Hurdle

Runner-up twice for Willie Mullins but showed little for Paul Nolan. More encouragement on debut for this yard in a 2m Kempton novice during the spring (in a share of third and keeping on when falling at last). Pitched into listed company on return 15 days ago (8th of 9), this is more her level.

Landed juvenile hurdle at Ludlow (15.8f, soft) in November 2023 and ran a respectable third at Newbury the following month. Blinkers discarded for comeback run 18 days ago but shaped encouragingly after a year off (raced keenly 3/8 at Hereford). Blinkers off again but remains of strong interest.

Proved better than ever when gaining the third Exeter success of her career in 18.5f handicap in November. That form has been boosted since and she must enter calculations again with Harry Cobden who is 1 from 1 on this horse taking over in the saddle.

Built on previous promise when making all on handicap debut at Fakenham (2m, good) in October. Not in the same form when a well-held third under a penalty at Fontwell the following week (17.5f). Back in distance now and this looks a tougher race.

Benefitted from a patient ride when winning 18-runner handicap hurdle at Chepstow (19.4f, good to soft) in November and ran at least as well under a penalty when third at Taunton (19f, good) the following week. Poor run on softer ground at Ffos Las 6 days later but race likely came too soon for her.

Fair maiden on the Flat in France. Scored for current yard at Ludlow (2m) in May and back to form when second at Bangor in September. Her penultimate run is forgivable and was last seen 42 days ago chasing home well-treated Harry Derham horse (Carlisle, Second of 10). That form reads well here.
