Bumper winner on debut in 2022 and built on his hurdles opener when landing a 14-runner Wetherby maiden in January. Failed to fire upped to 20.6f both starts since, latterly on handicap debut in at Huntingdon in March. Return to 2m in his favour on reappearance.
Fairly useful dual winning chaser for this yard last season but finished a well-held sixth back over hurdles on Fontwell reappearance and fared no better completed start since.
Some promise when in frame all 3 starts in bumpers and showed more than on debur over hurdles when second of 4 at Ludlow a month ago (21.3f). Looked well suited by step up in trip on that occasion so return to 2m is a concern for handicap debut.
Losing run dates back to June 2023 and profile rather in-and-out this season in Ireland. Left Gavin Cromwell and back over timber.
Third in first 2 hurdles (trained in Ireland on debut) before getting it right in 10-runner maiden at Sedgefield (2m, soft) in October, making all. Improved again when runner-up on handicap debut a month later and the winner has been successful since. Major claims up 3 lb minus usual hood.
Placed first 3 starts, producing his best effort yet when going close in a 2m Warwick novice in October. However, he failed to improve on subsequent handicap debut at Carlisle (17.2f, good to soft) and needs a good test kept to this trip.
Showed some promise in a pair of bumpers for Sam Allwood and shaped even better sent hurdling in a first-time tongue strap after 8 months off when third of 12 over C&D in October. Produced a slightly wayward display at Wetherby since and now goes handicapping.
Fair maiden on Flat who showed a good attitude to get off the mark in this sphere at Exeter last March. Placed all 6 subsequent starts and should be in the mix, provided he's ready to roll following 12 months off.

Forecasts
Strictly Tango (7/4), Don Virginia (3/1), Sao Carlos (6/1), Lightningupourdays (13/2), The Grafter (7/1), Gardener (20/1), Port Or Starboard (20/1), Mister Wilson (20/1)
Unexposed 5-y-o STRICTLY TANGO took another step forward when chasing home a subsequent winner on handicap debut at Carlisle a month ago and he makes plenty of appeal up 3 lb. The return to 2m should suit Sao Carlos on reappearance so he's a threat, along with Don Virginia.
