Progressive hurdler in the mud last season, making the most of a good opportunity to complete a hat-trick in this sphere at Exeter (16.7f, heavy) in March. Shaped as if needing the run after 8 months off when fifth at Warwick (19f) 17 days ago and he could yet resume progress with that behind him.
Fairly useful performer on Flat and, in line with yard's good form, he doubled his hurdles tally after 7 months off in a C&D handicap in October. Found things tougher when third at Newbury (16.3f) 30 days ago but he's a definite contender here.
Much improved when making a winning handicap debut over hurdles at Bellewstown (20.5f) in August. However, well-beaten next 2 starts and starts out for new yard having left Gordon Elliott for only £3,000 in October.
Dual winner of juvenile hurdles at Musselburgh last winter and added to his tally on the Flat at that venue in August. Fit from efforts in that sphere in recent months but others look better treated returning to handicaps in this code.
Fairly useful on Flat (stays 10.5f) and she created a good impression when winning a C&D mares' novice on hurdles bow back in February. Ended her campaign on Flat in good form, runner-up at York (10.2f) in October and appeals as being on a workable mark now handicapping in this sphere.
Capable of fair form over fences in France but having been well backed, he could only run to a modest level on stable debut when fourth of 10 in novice hurdle at Bangor (16.7f, soft) 24 days ago. May be sharper here given that was his first start for 5 months. Makes handicap hurdles debut.
Scored at Hexham in June but he's been operating below his best since and this marked step back in trip needs to have a huge effect if he's to feature.
Fair maiden on Flat for Gavin Cromwell and showed aptitude for hurdling for this yard when placed in novice company earlier this year. Operating below best on the level during the summer but progress could well be on the cards now handicapping in this sphere.

Forecasts
Schmilsson (2/1), Classic Maestro (9/4), Yorkshire Lady (7/2), Royal King (5/1), Rory The Cat (22/1), Rioja Alta (22/1), Belvedere Blast (25/1), Leading Lion (125/1)
YORKSHIRE LADY created a good impression when making a winning hurdles debut in a C&D mares' novice earlier this year and, coming here on the back of an excellent second on the Flat at York in October, she can prove her opening mark a lenient one now handicapping in this sphere. Schmilsson and Classic Maestro can give Mick and David Easterby's mare most to think about.
