Useful 2-time winner in bumpers who confirmed hurdles debut promise when opening his account in 10-runner novice hurdle at Chepstow (16f, good to soft) 30 days ago, pulling clear with runner up. Definite claims under a penalty with prospect of more to come.

Fair form when runner-up on second of 2 starts in bumpers and took to this discipline well after 6 months off when bagging 14-runner novice hurdle at Stratford (16.3f, good to soft) 5 weeks ago, running on. In good hands and there's better to come.

No impact in bumper/pair of novice hurdles earlier this year. Hood reached for following 7 months off but he can only be watched.

Fair in bumpers and has twice looked the likeliest winner over hurdles, taking another late flight fall at Uttoxeter (20f) 61 days ago, going better than eventual winner at the time. Remains open to improvement and big player provided that second setback hasn't left a mark.

From a fairly useful jumping family and not without promise in a couple of bumpers last season. Undergone wind surgery ahead of this return/hurdles debut but he may well be suited by further in this sphere.

€50,000 3-y-o, Kapgarde gelding. Runner-up in points in May and bright start over hurdles when fifth of 15 in maiden at Ffos Las (20f) 26 days ago, keeping on before losing 2 places run-in. Yard going along very well and he looks sure to improve.

Jack Hobbs gelding. Fitted with a tongue strap but suffered a breathing problem when ninth of 12 in novice hurdle at Newton Abbot (16.8f, good to firm) on NH debut 6 months ago. Had wind surgery subsequently but percentage call is to look elsewhere.

Rangy gelding who displayed fair form without tasting success in handful off bumper starts, albeit not at best when sixth in 9-runner listed contest at Newbury in February. Looks the pick of the Tizzard pair now hurdling and the betting should guide.

Blue Bresil mare who is bred to stay well and couldn't make an impact when seventh of 9 on debut in a C&D bumper back in February 2023. Absent/switched yards since and this looks a sharp enough test now hurdling.

JURANCON confirmed the promise of his hurdling debut display when opening his account at Chepstow 30 days ago, pulling a long way clear with the runner-up. He's fancied to make a bold bid to defy a penalty, with Disco Davis, who has been most unfortunate in 2 hurdle outings to date, and fellow last-time-out winner Mythical Moon heading up the dangers. Kap Vert is another capable of better.
