Bumper winner here who showed just modest form when odds on and held for hurdles debut at Uttoxeter in June. Had nothing go right during his brief stay in the race returning from 4 months off at Ludlow 4 weeks ago.

Fourth in bumper at Fontwell and well held at big prices in novice/maiden hurdles, not unduly punished. One for handicaps.

£70,000 3-y-o, Diamond Boy gelding. Half-brother to fairly useful hurdler Foillan. Dam unraced, closely related to fair hurdler (stayed 3¼m) Bold Conquest. Placed both starts in Irish points and commands respect.

CASTLE IVERS and Don't Mind If I Do are good prospects for jumping and could be the pair to focus on, with narrow preference for Olly Murphy's charge. Diskatek can do better, while Ben Pauling's Lanesborough is a newcomer from the pointing field to note.
