Berkshire Lad²⁷

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: David Bass| T: O Signy

Related to a bumper winner and stepped up on debut when third at Sedgefield 27 days ago, albeit carrying his head awkwardly. Could feature.

Form: 0-3

Doctor Love

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Brendan Powell| T: A Ralph

13/2

€80,000 3-y-o, Doctor Dino gelding. Half-brother to 2 winners, including fairly useful French chaser Vandrimar. Interesting newcomer on paper.

Form:

Draco Malfoy²⁰²

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Thomas Bellamy| T: K Bailey & M Nicholls

7/4

€58,000 3-y-o, €140,000 4-y-o, Harzand gelding. Dam (h93), maiden hurdler (stayed 2½m), half-sister to high-class hurdler (2m-19f winner) Iktitaf. Successful on second of 2 outings in Irish points (Apr 28). Stable should have him well forward and he's a definite player.

Form: 41-

John Barbour^t1¹⁹¹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Jack Hogan⁽³⁾| T: F O'Brien

9/2

Related to a bumper winner and there was definite promise when third at Huntingdon for Tom George 6 months ago. Should improve on that, so he's a player.

Form: 3

Karonacho

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: K Brogan| T: O Murphy

7/2

€200,000 3-y-o, Saint Des Saints gelding. Half-brother to prolific French chase winner Juntos Ganamos. Dam 19f/21f hurdle/chase winner in France. Noteworthy newcomer.

Form:

Tank Top¹⁸⁸

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Lily Pinchin| T: N B King

18/1

Hasn't shown enough to date to think he can feature in this, particularly after 6 months off.

Form: 0-4

Washington Singer²⁰⁹

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Rex Dingle| T: C Gordon

14/1

Some encouragement when third in a bumper at Wincanton 6 months ago. Form is ordinary but he could take a step forward.

Form: 3-

Walkingtheline²⁹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: Kielan Woods| T: T Lacey

12/1

Dam unraced sister to useful hurdle winner/smart chaser who became unreliable (stayed 2¾m) Us And Them. Something to work on when fourth over C&D on debut and should have benefited from the experience.

Form: 4

Forecasts

Draco Malfoy (7/4), Karonacho (7/2), John Barbour (9/2), Doctor Love (13/2), Walkingtheline (12/1), Washington Singer (14/1), Berkshire Lad (16/1), Tank Top (18/1)

DRACO MALFOY has already scored between the flags and his in-form stable should have him ready for this, so he's worth a chance to make a winning start in this sphere. Karonacho is an obvious one on paper given his pedigree/connections and John Barbour looks the best of those with bumper experience.
