Off time: 13:52 | Winning time: 4m 10.80s

Beyond The Verge⁵²

Age: 5| Weight: 11-9| J: Nathan Moscrop| T: S Corbett| CD

4/1

Has an ordinary pedigree but belied odds of 18/1 and looked potentially above average when scoring over C&D first time out. More to come and should go well again.

Burning It Up¹⁹⁵

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Bruce Lynn| T: N W Alexander

13/2

€25,000 3-y-o, £35,000 4-y-o, Milan gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to bumper winner Gaillimh A Chroi out of 2½m hurdle winner (stayed 3m) Burnt Out. Third on only outing in Irish points (Apr 28).

Form: 3-

Gonnino

Age: 5| Weight: 11-2| J: Lewis Dobb⁽⁷⁾| T: Gary Rutherford

7/2

Doyen gelding. Dam (c100/h100), bumper/17f hurdle winner (stayed 2¾m), half-sister to useful hurdler (stayed 3m) Hello George.

Form:

Humble Jumble

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: P W Wadge⁽³⁾| T: Miss Lucinda V Russell

13/8

£30,000 3-y-o, Jet Away gelding. Dam (b89) placed in bumpers out of hurdler/chaser (2½m-2¾m winner) Sunami Storm. Interesting newcomer.

Form:

King Gold Boy

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Alan Doyle⁽⁵⁾| T: Mrs J C McGregor

66/1

Brave Mansonnien gelding. Dam maiden hurdler. Doesn't make much appeal on paper.

Form:

Smart Bucks

Age: 4| Weight: 11-2| J: Joe Williamson⁽³⁾| T: P A Kirby

15/2

Buck's Boum gelding. Dam unraced half-sister to useful hurdler/smart chaser (stayed 21f) Lady Buttons. Worth monitoring in the betting for all that he'll probably come into his own further down the line.

Form:

Joto³¹

Age: 4| Weight: 10-9| J: Mr Paddy Barlow⁽⁷⁾| T: Paul Collins| BF

16/1

Out of a bumper winner but only sixth at Sedgefield on debut. May have learned from that, so step up isn't out of the question.

Form: 6

Non-Runners

Kefir D'oudairies

Weight: 11-2| Age: 4

T: O Murphy J: Non Runner

Forecasts

Humble Jumble (13/8), Kefir D'oudairies (5/2), Gonnino (7/2), Beyond The Verge (4/1), Burning It Up (13/2), Smart Bucks (15/2), Joto (16/1), King Gold Boy (66/1)

BEYOND THE VERGE, who caused an upset when successful first time out over C&D, could be above avaerage and can follow up under a penalty. Humble Jumble is another one to be interested in first-time out.
