Thorough stayer who cashed in on his reduced mark over C&D in February and solid efforts next 2 starts, latterly when fifth of 11 in handicap chase at Carlisle (24.5f, heavy) in April. Mark looks about right but he merits consideration on return to action nevertheless.
Made a winning return from a 3 lb higher mark at Kelso (26.2f) 12 months ago and not disgraced on final 2 starts, respectable second of 5 in handicap at Perth (23.8f) when last seen in April. Record fresh a definite plus
Course winner who finished runner-up for third consecutive start at Perth (23.8f) in July. Struck into when last of 10 in handicap chase at Kelso (21.6f) 6 weeks ago and he's a likely type to bounce back returned to this longer trip.
Dual hurdles winner who shaped with encouragement on sole previous try over fences at Newcastle (16.3f) last winter. Made the frame both starts since returning over timber and he's open to improvement stepping up markedly in trip in this sphere. Tongue strap refitted.
C&D winner who capitalised on a career-low mark in some style to record a first success in over 3 years at Catterick (25.2f) in December and signed off the campaign with a solid second back at that venue (30f) the following month. Has tended to need his first run of the season, however.
Got the better of old rival Camp Belan when completing a quick-fire hat-trick at Hexham (24.2f, heavy) in March. May of found busy spell catching up with him when well held final 2 starts and better showing not ruled out on seasonal bow, albeit with usual cheekpieces left off.

Forecasts
Hostile Hotelier (6/4), Everyday Champagne (7/2), Destiny Is All (4/1), Camp Belan (4/1), Heritier De Sivola (16/1), Crixus's Escape (25/1)
The most interesting one here could well be HOSTILE HOTELIER. A dual winner over hurdles, this step back up in trip returned to chasing could well unlock further progress and, with the tongue refitted, he could be the way to go for the in-form Jennie Candlish stable. Camp Belan ended last term in good form and is feared, along with stablemate Destiny Is All.
