Runner-up in an Irish point and shaped well when filling the same spot in a Kelso maiden hurdle on Rules debut last December. No match for handicap blot Size Five (winner again since) on return/handicap bow at Perth (3m, soft) and he's interesting back down in trip for this chase debut.

Placed twice from 5 starts in Irish points and very nearly landed a gamble on Rules debut in a maiden hurdles here last October. Safely held both subsequent starts, though, and step forward needed switched to fences following 10 months off.

Fetched £100,000 after winning sole start in points and, following a wind op and fitted with a first-time hood (retained), he posted arguably his best effort from 3 starts over hurdles when fourth of 11 on return at Warwick (2m, good). Could be a factor on this chase debut granted a clear round.

Not far off his hurdling best when runner-up on second chase start at Catterick last November. Ended 2023/24 campaign on a downer but back on track when fourth in a 10-runner handicap on return/debut for new yard at Hexham (15.6f, soft) and, down another 1 lb, he needs considering.

Worcester hurdles winner last September and bettered his low-key chase debut third in a 2m Uttoxeter handicap in July. However, ran poorly back over timber returned to Worcester last time and this 6-y-o is opposable on debut for new connections.

Had cheekpieces on and got off the mark in 10-runner handicap hurdle at Cartmel (2¾m, good) in June. Good second at Market Rasen next time but drop to 17f counted against her at Stratford recently and she may again finds things happening roo quickly.

Has found just one too good over fences on several occasions and latest fourth of 10 at Hexham (15.6f, good to soft) was by no means a bad effort. Still, it's hard to ignore the fact that she's 0-18 overall.

Veteran Flat/hurdles winner who has yet to trouble the judge following 8 attempts in this sphere. That said, he was a fair third on his latest start over fences at Perth (2½m, soft) last month and this drop back in trip will at least help.

Finished third on the second of his 2 starts in Irish points and showed something to work on over hurdles. Likewise on recent chase debut at Hexham (2½m, good) where he was fourth in a 10-runner handicap off a 1 lb higher mark, and improvement could be on the way.

Went agonisingly close to breaking his duck from a tumbling mark at Sedgefield (17f, good) in May. However, that effort has been followed by a series of uninspiring performances and he needs to get back on track.

Pulled up sole start in points and no promise over hurdles. A long way out of the weights for this chase debut and he's very hard to recommend.
