Modest chaser who edged ahead close home to double his tally at Fakenham in May. Respectable effort next time and can make his presence felt if tuned up for this return.

Back on the up, under positive tactics, when winning 10-runner handicap chase at Newton Abbot (21f, good to firm, 8/1) in May and backed it up with another likeable display at Fakenham 141 days. Can make all here.

Latest win in chase at Hereford in March. Remained in good form subsequently and, while he's not the most reliable in general, he's worthy of consideration back from 6 months off.

Below form when last seen but won over C&D around this time last year (albeit with a run behind him), so he's worth monitoring in the betting after 6 months.

Got off the mark in 5-runner handicap chase at Fakenham (16.3f, soft) in February but that was a poor contest and he didn't really back it up subsequently. Will probably need this return from 6 months off.

Surprise winner under a change of tactics when opening his account over fences at Newton Abbot (21f, good to soft) in July and was back on track when second over C&D last time. Others look better treated, though.

Got back on track reverted to this hurdling when landing 8-runner handicap at Cartmel (17.2f, soft) in August. Below form next time and has an uninspiring record over fences.

Forecasts

West Orchard (10/3), Time To Bite (10/3), Kankin (9/2), Jack Doyen (6/1), Kalkas (6/1), Noah's Light (7/1), Miss Fedora (17/2), Elpologreg (9/1)

Verdict

TIME TO BITE was in excellent form when last seen and shouldn't face much pressure for the lead, so he's fancied to make a successful comeback from more than 4 months off. Kalkas is one to note with his stable going well and West Orchard isn't ruled out considering he was a C&D winner less than a year ago.
