Dear Cat³⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-6| J: Charles Bishop| T: W Greatrex| OR: 78

7/4

Lightly-raced winner. Successful at Salisbury in August. Bit below form ninth of 15 in nursery at Doncaster (6.5f, good, 11/2) 35 days ago but sights lowered here and she will be a danger to all if taking to this surface.

Form: 5219

Bear Facts³¹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Hollie Doyle| T: T Ward

16/1

Once-raced maiden. 25/1, seventh of 12 in novice at Kempton (7f) on debut 31 days ago. Will be more street-wise this time and it would be no surprise to see her step up on that here.

Form: 7

(5)

Elland Road Girl²⁹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: D Nolan| T: D O'Meara

14/1

Once-raced maiden. Fifth of 11 in novice (28/1) at Beverley (5f, good to firm) on debut 29 days ago. Up in trip and she needs to raise her game.

Form: 5

(4)

How Lovely

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Harry Davies| T: S & E Crisford

4/1

Foaled March 23. 200,000 gns yearling, No Nay Never filly. Half-sister to 2-y-o 5.5f winner Kodikova. Makes plenty of appeal on paper and it will look significant if the market speaks in her favour.

Form:

(2)

Jake Loves Laura⁴⁹

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: William Cox| T: P Attwater

40/1

Once-raced maiden. Fifth of 10 in maiden (80/1) at Newbury (6f, good to firm) on debut 49 days ago. First run for yard after leaving Dominic Ffrench Davis and she's probably worth taking on.

Form: 5

(8)

Manara¹⁵

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: K Shoemark| T: K P De Foy

14/1

Once-raced maiden. 100/1, seventh of 11 in novice at Kempton (6f) on debut 15 days ago, slowly away. Likely to improve with that run under her belt.

Form: 7

(9)

Nazuki

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: K Stott| T: Ollie Sangster

9/4

Foaled February 20. Earthlight filly. Closely related to 2-y-o 7f winner Change For Good and half-sister to 6f-7f winner White Umbrella. Dam 2-y-o 7f winner. Watch the betting for clues.

Form:

(7)

Thamna²³

Age: 2| Weight: 9-2| J: Tom Marquand| T: M Appleby

16/1

Once-raced maiden. 10/1, sixth of 8 in maiden at Newcastle (7.1f) on debut 23 days ago, not knocked about. Looks vulnerable.

Form: 6

Forecasts

Dear Cat (7/4), Nazuki (9/4), How Lovely (4/1), Brave Byreflection (4/1), Elland Road Girl (14/1), Manara (14/1), Thamna (16/1), Bear Facts (16/1), Jake Loves Laura (40/1), Luna A Inbhir Nis (66/1)

The vote goes to BRAVE BYREFLECTION, who fared best of the newcomers when runner-up in a Ripon maiden in August and she is sure to improve. Dear Cat will find this company more palatable having contested a Class 2 Doncaster nursery last time and she is second choice ahead of likely-looking newcomers How Lovely and Nazuki.
