Runner-up in bumper at Killarney on debut in May 2022 and understandably got tired late on returning from an absence of over 2 years when fifth of 11 in a similar event at Downpatrick (18.8f, good) a couple of months ago. Has switched yards ahead of this hurdling debut.
Sent off huge prices and duly went with no encouragement on both starts over hurdles last season. Arrives on the back of a below-par effort on the Flat at Newcastle last month and can only be watched.
Fair and consistent maiden on Flat in France (stays 15f) for E. Libaud (sold €30,000 last November). Backed at long odds and offered something to work on fitted with a hood when fifth of 11 in C&D novice in May but failed to build on that at Cartmel later that month.
Produced best effort to date (still only poor form) when fourth of 10 in handicap at Hamilton (9.2f, good to firm) back in June. Makes hurdles debut and it's hard to envisage him getting involved.
Ran to a similar level as on hurdling bow for P. J. Rothwell 8 weeks earlier (sold for £6,000) when third of 9 in maiden hurdle at Fontwell (19.1f, good) last month. Feasible to think he can improve, so fancied to go close.
Fairly useful maiden at best on Flat (stays 1¼m) bought cheaply on the back of 3 disappointing Flat runs for Tom Lacey and not much to shout about over hurdles for present yard. Can only be watched returning from 12 months off.
Left debut form behind as he got off the mark in 10-runner bumper (9/2) at this C&D (good) when last seen 5 months ago, leading over 1f out. Has since left Tom Weston and looks one of the likelier types on hurdling debut.
Proved a different proposition to on debut when winning 11-runner bumper at Bangor (16.7f, good) back in June, getting first run helping to seal the outcome. Makes hurdling debut and market should be a good guide to expectations.
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat (stays 1¼m), below form on stable debut at Chester last time. Makes hurdles debut in a refitted tongue tie and could well have a part to play given his level ability on the Flat.
Runner-up on the last 2 of her 3 starts in points but finished well held on her debut under Rules in maiden hurdle at Hexham (20.1f, good) in June. Trainer/jockey combination took this last year but likely she'll make little appeal this side of handicaps.

Forecasts
Strictly Tango (2/1), Kingston Narcissus (11/4), Sayva (7/2), Sea Legend (18/5), Felix Summus (14/1), Leader Wing (16/1), Florita (100/1), Knight Of Magic (150/1), Foshan (200/1), Swashbuckler (200/1)
A few in with chances but STRICTLY TANGO has shaped with promise in finishing third on both starts so far so he's taken to put that experience to good use and get the better of Leader Wing, who won a C&D bumper back in the spring and now makes his hurdling debut for a new yard. Sea Legend and Felix Summus and both newcomers to this sphere and can fight out minor honours.
- Leader Wing16/1
- Sea Legend18/5
