Well held in 2 bumpers in the spring. Modest form switched to the Flat in recent weeks. Looks more one for handicaps after this.

Fairly useful performer in Ireland for Dermot Weld (gelded since last seen). It has taken a while for new connections to get him back to the track but he has leading form claims.

Fair form when placed over 7f on AW 7 months apart, hanging left under pressure at Wolverhampton 20 days ago. Turf debut.

Half-brother to several winners, notably top-class miler Palace Pier. Pipped when odds on for his 7f Newcastle debut in February but did impress with the way he travelled through that race. Looks a sure-fire improver back from 7 months off.

Down the field in 2 outings a year apart (trained by Freddie & Martyn Meade on debut) but the fact he went off a 4-5 at Musselburgh (5f) on his recent return for a new yard suggests he must have been showing a bit at home. Steps up 2f in trip now.

Fair maiden. 10/1, respectable fifth of 10 in novice at Kempton (1m) 49 days ago. Thereabouts but suspicion she may prove vulnerable for win purposes again.

Hasn't shown enough in 2 outings at Kempton to think she's likely to figure prominently here. Tongue tied first time.

Palace Pier's half-brother MY CLOUD showed plenty of promise when narrowly denied on his debut back in February and can go one better on his return. This is a rather belated first outing of the season for Walsingham but he's the obvious form threat to the selection if retaining anything like the ability he showed for Dermot Weld in Ireland last year.
