More Than Ready colt. Brother to 3 winners, including smart winner up to 1m Nemoralia and 7f winner Blue On Blue. Dam US winner up to 8.5f (2-y-o 6.5f winner). Worth a second look in the betting with Jamie Spencer booked.

Once-raced gelding. 100/1, fifth of 10 in maiden at Southwell (7.1f) on debut in March, not knocked about. That experience won't be wasted on him and improvement is on the cards.

No Nay Never gelding. Half-brother to several winners, including very smart Australian 5.5f-7f winner Zoustar and smart winner up to 1¾m Emperor of The Sun. Lots to like on paper and it will look significant if the market speaks in his favour.

The hint should probably be taken if there is confidence behind newcomer TRIDENT in the betting. Indeed, he looks the part on paper and wouldn't need to be out of the ordinary to make a winning debut here. That said, Parthenopaeus, Bamburgh and Boss Dog (in order of preference) should all pick up a race before long judged on what they've shown, while Cable Beach's debut effort was not devoid of promise and he can be expected to leave that form well behind in time.
