Promising sort. 10/1, won 6-runner novice at Haydock (7f, good) on debut 55 days ago, well on top at the line. Open to progress stepping up to 1m.
€40,000 Zarak gelding. Had excuses on debut (strong in betting) and duly left that form well behind when scoring unchallenged in 10-runner maiden at Epsom (7f, good) 18 days ago, running on. Represents leading yard and respected with prospect of more to come.
Overcame inexperience to justify short-priced favouritism on 7f Leicester debut in June. Nicely on top at the finish and could have plenty more to come after 3 months off/having been gelded.
100,000 gns Havana Gold colt. 33/1, shaped as if better for the run when seventh of 13 in novice at Kempton (7f) on debut 9 days ago. Entitled to improve but this looks a warm enough race.
Foaled March 20. $50,000 foal, €100,000 2-y-o, War of Will colt. Dam ran twice in USA. Interesting to see what the market has to say.
Foaled March 3. Cracksman gelding. Dam maiden (stayed 1½m), sister to useful winner up to 1½m Galactic Prince out of useful 1¼m-11.6f winner Opera Gal. Betting should unearth some clues on debut. Yard also responsible for Square D'alboni.
Already gelded and, despite proving uneasy in the market, he showed some ability when fifth of 7 in novice (20/1) at Newmarket (7f, good) on debut 21 days ago. Should improve.
Foaled February 15. 80,000 gns yearling, Bated Breath colt. Half-brother to several winners, including smart winner up to 7f Gale Force Ten and useful 9f-1½m winner Eynhallow and useful winner up to 1¼m Rousay. Appeals on paper so one to note in the betting for clues.
Foaled April 6. 55,000 gns yearling, Mastercraftsman colt. Half-brother to several winners, including useful winner up to 7f Desert Gulf and 1m winner Red Hat Eagle.
Foaled April 29. 57,000 gns foal, £60,000 2-y-o, Showcasing colt. Half-brother to 3 winners, including 11f-1½m winner Cribbs Causeway and 1m winner Voyager Blue, both useful. Yard no stranger to success with their juveniles. Tongue strap applied for debut.
Once-raced maiden. 28/1, last of 13 in maiden at Newbury (7f, good to firm) on debut 27 days ago. Will need to leave that effort well behind if he's to make an impact here.
Sea The Moon colt who was strong in the betting and was denied only late on by another promising debutant in 7-runner Goodwood maiden (1m) 19 days ago. Looks sure to progress and he's well worth considering.

Forecasts
Half Moon Bay (9/4), Square D'alboni (3/1), Way Of Stars (5/1), Celeborn (7/1), Archie's Angel (15/2), Crackeagle (12/1), Night Step (28/1), Battle Stride (33/1), Arth's Gold (40/1), Opening Bat (50/1), Masterofperfection (100/1), Orchard (200/1)
Several interesting types in opposition with WAY OF STARS narrowly selected to come out on top. Having been strong in the betting, he showed plenty to work on and was beaten only by a fellow promising newcomer who was delivered later at Goodwood 19 days ago, and he looks sure to build on that effort. Square D'alboni, Celeborn and Archie's Angel all tasted success on their latest outings respectively and head up the dangers.
