Enjoyed a productive spell over fences here last summer and added to his strong record there when making all on his reappearance in May. Not in the same form at Uttoxeter a month later and this his first hurdles start since 2022.

Lightly-raced sort who rattled off a quick-fire hat-trick in handicap hurdles at Hereford (19.7f) in May. Made the frame on each of his last 3 starts at up to 25.8f and he's been found a race lacking depth.

C&D winner but losing run dates back to 2022. Hard to knock his consistency, though, posting another sound effort over C&D in July and this could be a good opening for him.

Forecasts

Investment Manager (6/4), Mr Yeats (15/8), Paddy De Pole (85/40)

Verdict

MR YEATS doesn't win very often but is a pretty consistent operator and as a C&D regular, this could be a good chance for him to snap his losing sequence. Paddy de Pole has to prove his stamina for this far but it's unlikely to be a thorough test and he's an obvious danger.
