Went backwards from his hurdling debut for Fergal O'Brien in 2022 but has improved for David O'Meara on the Flat lately and can't be dismissed starting out for another new yard back in this sphere.
Dam fairly useful 2m/21f hurdle winner, also 1m (at 2 yrs)-10.4f winner on Flat. Modest handicapper on Flat (stays 1¾m), runner-up on comeback in 2024, but well below form last time. Not an obvious sort on hurdling debut.
Useful Flat winner who stepped up on his hurdling debut when second in a 15-runner novice at Tramore a fortnight ago. That is the best piece of form on offer and he's worth a chance to go one better.
Fair on Flat (stays 16.5f), out of sorts in 2024. Hard to make a solid case for switched to hurdling for the first time.
Didn't look straightforward on his last 2 starts for Andrew Balding (sold for 20,000 gns in September) but he was useful on the Flat at best and should have learned from his initial experience of hurdling over C&D 45 days ago. Could do better.
Thrice-raced maiden. 33/1, third of 11 in novice hurdle at Uttoxeter (19.9f, good to firm) 35 days ago. Needs to up his game markedly if he's to feature in this.
Off mark in Irish points at second attempt (May 6) and made an excellent start over hurdles when runner-up in a C&D novice last month. Open to improvement and likely to take a hand.
Fair hurdler who is yet to get off the mark but ran creditably when runner-up over C&D last time. Blinkers may draw more out of him but others appear to have more potential.
Dam fair French hurdler (17f winner). Promising start when runner-up in a juvenile at Hereford 6 months ago and should step forward from that if he's fully tuned up. Big player.
Fairly useful handicapper on Flat but only modest efforts at best so far over hurdles, so needs to up his game.
Showed ability in bumpers but only modest form so far over hurdles. Improved on the Flat last time, though, so may yet have more to give in this sphere.

Brilliant Light (11/8), R S Ambush (5/1), Manowest (6/1), Don Virginia (13/2), Barenboim (8/1), Spitfire Bridge (17/2), Light Dragoon (12/1), Groundbreaker (25/1), Scintillante (33/1), Bobby Kennedy (80/1), Lucky Stripe (100/1), Eagle Court (100/1)
BRILLIANT LIGHT's second at Tramore is the best piece of form on show and he might be able to open his hurdling account with a performance of similar merit. Manowest is an obvious danger and Don Virginia also looks open to improvement.
