C&D winner. Missed the majority of 2023 and below par so far this year, looking on the cusp temperamentally, fourth of 6 in handicap (15/2) at Newmarket (8f, good) 11 days ago, very slowly away.
Latest win at Wolverhampton in July. 10/1, respectable third of 12 in handicap at Wolverhampton (6.1f) 26 days ago. Visor back on.
Creditable third of 12 in handicap (14/1) at Windsor (6f, good to firm) 8 days ago. Again shaped well there and is threatening to come good soon. Lots to like back on AW.
Respectable third of 6 in handicap at Newmarket (8f, good, 11/4) 11 days ago. Could do better back on AW (runner-up twice) with good 5 lb claimer back on board.
C&D winner. Cheekpieces on for 1st time, sixth of 10 in handicap (18/1) at Ascot (7f, good) 32 days ago. Did plenty wrong then but ended up running respectably. Player back at scene of last success.
Winner at Wolverhampton in October. Sixth of 9 in handicap at Yarmouth (8f, good to soft, 20/1) 115 days ago. Makes polytrack debut.
Last of 15 in handicap (14/1) at Newbury (7f, good to firm) 11 days ago. Tongue strap on 1st time. Out of sorts.
Lightly-raced maiden. Improved when second of 8 in handicap (13/2) at Chelmsford City (6f) 12 days ago, nearest finish. 7f will suit and she can go well.
Last of 5 in handicap at Ffos Las (8f, soft, 9/2) 21 days ago. 12-race maiden and others more persuasive.
C&D winner. 17/2, bit below form fifth of 12 in handicap at this C&D (AW) 91 days ago. Surely vulnerable to younger rivals.

Forecasts
The Bitter Moose (4/1), Tadreeb (9/2), Sheila's Paradise (9/2), Ultramarine (6/1), Lady Dreamer (15/2), Scarboroughwarning (17/2), Serengeti Sunrise (10/1), Faster Bee (12/1), Betties Bay (18/1), Mount Mogan (125/1)
ULTRAMARINE shaped well again at Windsor last week and given he's done all his winning on AW he could be worth chancing. That said, The Bitter Moose is 2-2 on AW and has dipped to a tempting mark so is very interesting. Scarboroughwarning might have more to offer over this longer trip and completes the shortlist.
