Age: 4| Weight: 10-0| J: W Buick| T: C Johnston| OR: 73| D

10/3

Made a successful return from 6 months off at Hamilton (9f) in June and was quickly back on track when third at Ayr last time. Another solid showing on the cards.

Tadreeb^v²¹

Age: 6| Weight: 9-10| J: R Havlin| T: M J Attwater| OR: 69

15/2

Missed the majority of 2023 and below par so far this year, including at Ascot last time, so others make more appeal.

Form: 570607

Sheila's Paradise²³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-8| J: S M Levey| T: R Hannon| OR: 73

11/4

Upped his game since sent handicapping, finishing runner-up twice on AW. Bit underwhelming at Salisbury last time, though, so needs to prove he's as good on turf.

Form: 764224

Mr Swivell²²

Age: 3| Weight: 9-7| J: Ray Dawson| T: J Ferguson| OR: 72| D

5/1

Southwell maiden winner in February, then shaped as if stretched by the trip when sixth at Chelmsford on handicap debut. Down the field on turf debut at Yarmouth last time but it's too soon to write him off.

Form: 42160

Arika²⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 9-5| J: Jonny Peate⁽³⁾| T: Jane Chapple-Hyam| OR: 64

13/2

Has slipped to an appealing mark and arguably put up his best effort despite a poor tactical position when third at Lingfield 24 days ago. Capable of getting off the mark if this is run to suit.

Form: 45-9463

(5)

New Kings Road¹³

Age: 3| Weight: 9-4| J: Joe Leavy⁽⁵⁾| T: R Hannon| OR: 69| D

4/1

Fair handicapper who was back to his best when landing a 4-runner event at Windsor last time. This is a bit tougher but he should give his running again.

Forecasts

Sheila's Paradise (11/4), Hey Lyla (10/3), New Kings Road (4/1), Mr Swivell (5/1), Arika (13/2), Fine Gold (7/1), Tadreeb (15/2)

ARIKA finished well from further back than ideal when third at Lingfield last time and he may have an even bigger effort in him, so he's preferred to the in-form Hey Lyla, with New Kings Road looking the pick of the 3yos.
