Dads Lad^t¹⁷

Age: 9| Weight: 11-7| J: Brian Hayes| T: W P Mullins| OR: 117| D

33/1

66/1, sixteenth of 20 in handicap at Galway (16.8f, good to soft) 17 days ago. Switches from Flat to hurdles. Useful chaser but yet to click over timber. Certainly in the right hands.

Form: 5190P/0

Disco Dancer^t¹⁰

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Jack Kennedy| T: G Elliott| OR: 115

6/1

One win from 3 runs last season. Latest win in hurdle at Cork in July. 7/2, creditable third of 11 in handicap hurdle at Cork (17f, good to soft) 10 days ago. Can remain competitive.

Form: 423123

Rauzan^p³¹

Age: 4| Weight: 11-5| J: H Morgan| T: E Doyle| OR: 118| C

10/1

Course winner. Career best when winning 4-runner novice hurdle at Downpatrick (21.8f, good, 2/1) 31 days ago by 12 lengths from Disco Dancer. Back down in trip and new mark has kicked in but he's thriving.

Form: 4P0-111

War Correspondent^t³⁴

Age: 5| Weight: 11-5| J: Carl Millar⁽⁷⁾| T: R P Cody| OR: 115| D

5/1

Unreliable type. Tenth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Kilbeggan (19.3f, good to soft, 6/1) 34 days ago. Booking of Millar a plus.

Form: 000-330

Miss Fourie¹⁵

Age: 7| Weight: 11-2| J: Jake Coen⁽³⁾| T: Peter Fahey| OR: 112| D

8/1

20/1, good second of 19 in handicap hurdle at Galway (16.5f, good to soft) 15 days ago. Nudged up 3 lb for that.

Form: 93-5742

Pahlavi¹³

Age: 7| Weight: 11-1| J: Jordan Gainford| T: J J Hanlon| OR: 111

16/1

33/1, creditable eighth of 15 in handicap hurdle at Galway (16f, soft) 13 days ago. Mark still looks a shade too high.

Form: C4-2238

Red Glory²⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 11-1| J: Rachael Blackmore| T: H De Bromhead| OR: 111

4/1

4/1, career best when winning 15-runner handicap hurdle at Killarney (17f, good) 28 days ago, pushed out. 5 lb rise could be lenient so looks the one to beat.

Form: 673-221

Granpa Ger⁸

Age: 6| Weight: 10-0| J: Phillip Enright| T: A Mullins| OR: 96| BF

5/1

Shaped well when second of 13 in handicap hurdle (10/3) at Wexford (16.7f, good to soft) 8 days ago, blundering at the last. Shortlisted.

Form: 5P-5742

Forecasts

Dark Note (4/1), Red Glory (4/1), Granpa Ger (5/1), War Correspondent (5/1), Disco Dancer (6/1), Miss Fourie (8/1), Rauzan (10/1), Pahlavi (16/1), Dads Lad (33/1)

GRANPA GER has been shaping up well of late and in the hope he can keep the errors at bay this time, is selected to come out on top. There's depth to this race though, with Red Glory and Rauzan arriving on the up.
