Confirmed debut promise when landing 7.5f Beverley maiden in June and matched that form when third under a penalty at Chelmsford (7f) 5 weeks ago. Represents top yard and increase in trip could unlock further progress now handicapping.

Improved model with the tongue tie added, finding extra when completing the hat-trick at Sandown (1m) 10 days ago. Assessor applies further pressure but feasible to think he could yet have more to offer.

Won a soft ground C&D novice in May and back to that level when runner-up on handicap debut here 21 days ago. Encounters quicker ground here but yard continue in good order and she's respected with blinkers now enlisted.

Left her return/stable debut effort well behind when landing 6-runner handicap here (10.2f, firm) in June. Placed both starts since over that trip at Ayr/Doncaster and a well-run race down at this trip ought to play to her strengths.

Won handicaps at Wolverhampton (9.5f) and Doncaster (1m) in June. Turned over following a tardy start in hat-trick bid at Beverley (8.5f) last month but no surprise were she to resume her progression now.

Successful on first of 2 starts as a juvenile for Charlie Appleby but not kicked on from his yard debut/reappearance effort in 2 subsequent outings so far this campaign. Mark has eased further but he's a good bit to prove at present.

Put her experience to good use to get off the mark after 8 months off in 10-runner maiden at Thirsk (7f) in May. Wasn't disgraced switched to a handicap when third at Catterick later that month but below best in pair of starts in June. Returns from 45 days off with yard in good form, however.

Made a winning handicap debut on seasonal bow at Yarmouth (1m) in May but not yet built on that in trio of starts on turf/AW. Remains early days at least now stepping back up to 1m.

Lope De Vega filly who caught the eye under hands-and-heels ride when third on debut in a Newcastle maiden (7f) in January. Hasn't yet built on that in 2 starts on turf but she appeals as the type to do better now handicapping. One to note.

Improving son of Havana Gold who landed back-to-back Beverley handicaps prior to a good second taking on his elders for the first time at Pontefract (1m) 3 weeks ago. This tougher up in class but unlikely we've seen all he has to offer yet.

Forecasts

Golden Myrrh (9/4), Remoji (4/1), Salamanca Lad (4/1), Thewind Cries Mary (8/1), Empire Of Light (9/1), This Years Love (11/1), Zipster (12/1), Lokana (25/1), On Point (33/1), Mystical Maria (40/1)

Verdict

Having easily landed back-to-back handicaps in June, GOLDEN MYRRH may have found the race coming too soon when fourth at Beverley on her most recent outing. Given a 5-week break subsequently, Ralph Beckett's filly gets the nod to get back on the up. Remoji, upped in trip for handicap debut, and Empire of Light head up the dangers, with the thriving Salamanca Lad another in the mix from a handy draw.
