Without a win this year but hard to be too critical give he's posted several solid efforts. Patient tactics didn't work out when behind a couple of these a fortnight ago so that run can be excused.
Temperamental sort but scored at Newbury in June and backed it up with a brace of placed efforts, most recently in one of these contests at Yarmouth a fortnight ago (14f). Likely to give it another good go back in trip.
Lightly-raced son of Cracksman who produced a career best when winning 11-runner handicap at York (11.8f, good to soft) last month, doing well having conceded first run. Escaped a penalty when excellent second at Newbury a week later and 3 lb higher mark won't prevent another bold bid.
With headgear reapplied, he stepped up on reappearance run when fourth of 9 at Chelmsford and improved again when chasing home the re-opposing Walter Hartright in a Racing League contest at Yarmouth. Looked a shade flattered to get as close as he did to that rival, though.
Has thrived since the application of blinkers, completing the 4-timer with another much-improved display in a Racing League contest at Yarmouth, eased close home. Up 7 lb but still appeals as being the one to beat.
Course winner who soon left behind a lesser effort when fourth of 7 at Goodwood (12f, good) in June, despite needing a stronger gallop. Slow starts remain a concern and he was never able to land a blow given how the race panned out behind a few of these at Yarmouth.
Snapped a near 2-year losing sequence in 5-runner handicap at Catterick (12.1f, good to firm) 15 days ago. Up just 1 lb but this a much deeper race.
Going the right way this year, seeing out the longer trip well when winning maiden at Limerick (12.5f, good) in June and progressed again from an inflated mark back in a handicap won by Walter Hartright at Yarmouth last time.

Lieber Power (9/4), Walter Hartright (9/2), Wahraan (9/2), Gangster Granny (7/1), Dream Harder (7/1), Bizarre Law (17/2), Furzig (12/1), The Thunderer (18/1), Chase The Dollar (20/1)
WALTER HARTRIGHT was one of five that contested the same race on Yarmouth's Racing League fixture a fortnight ago and while he was allowed to dictate matters that day, there's no real desire to oppose him in his bid for the 5-timer. Gangster Granny came from further back than ideal in that race so she may well finish closer this time, with Lieber Power another to note.
