Dual winner last term who posted encouraging second in Epsom handicap (10.1f) in May. Disappointed at York last month, however, and needs to bounce back.
Rattled off a tremendous 6-timer earlier in his career for George Boughey and acquitted himself well on 3 of his 4 starts in Bahrain during the winter. Back from 5 months off when respectable fourth at Kempton (12f) 30 days ago and is entitled to build on that.
Ran right up to best when fourth in Kensington Palace at Royal Ascot (8f) in June. Not in same form over longer trip at Chelmsford City latest but remains fairly treated and must enter calculations.
Cashed in off a reduced mark when regaining the winning thread at York (9f, soft) in June and has followed that with a couple of respectable placed efforts at Hamilton. However, would arguably prefer some give underfoot. Engaged 3.00 Goodwood Friday.
Performed well over hurdles this summer but disappointed when last seen on level here in October and makes limited appeal. Blinkers/tongue strap on for first time.
Twice a winner last term but yet to get his head in front this season and arrives on back of below-par third at Sandown 28 days ago.
Shaped well both 2-y-o starts and wasn't far behind Wednesday's Sussex Stakes winner Notable Speech on return at Kempton in April. Successful in a Nottingham maiden next time before a cracking third of 29 in the Britannia at Royal Ascot (8f, firm). Big player.
Back from 5 months off when running poorly at Kempton last month and is hard to recommend. Hood back on.
Dual winner (both 8f) this term who was doing all his best work at the finish when fourth of 11 in handicap at Ascot (8f, good, 14/1) 22 days ago. Looks worth another crack at this longer trip and is one for shortlist.
Ended last term with victory at Chelmsford in September but yet to really fire in a trio of starts this season.
Got off the mark at Kempton in April and took his form up a notch when very good second of 7 in handicap at this course (8f) in June. However, shaped as if amiss at Newmarket last time and percentage call is to look elsewhere.
